Let the care guide lead
Use the cleaner and method approved for the exact product. Sweep or vacuum with suitable equipment, and remove gritty debris that can scratch the surface. More detergent is not necessarily better; residue can change appearance and feel.
Protect the finish
Use suitable furniture pads and protectors for the actual load. Check rug backings, entrance mats and rolling-chair arrangements with the manufacturer. Lift heavy furniture rather than dragging it, and use the recommended moving protection.
Spills, steam and sunlight
Wipe spills promptly. Do not assume a water-resistant product permits every steam mop, cleaning chemical or prolonged standing-water condition. Review sunlight and heat exposure near glazing and the approved indoor temperature range.
Keep a repair record
Save the collection name, colour, batch details and any spare boards in suitable storage. Repair methods differ between click and glue-down systems. Consult the installer or manufacturer before cutting into an installed floor.
