BUDGET

A clearer flooring budget.

Compare the complete project: flooring, preparation, installation, removal and finishing.

Square-foot price is only the beginning

The advertised material rate does not describe a finished room. Separate carton-rounded material, installation, old floor removal, disposal, substrate repair, moisture measures, trims, transitions, stairs, delivery, furniture moving and applicable tax. Ask which tasks are included, excluded or conditional.

Make the quantity traceable

Measure each room, subtract only areas that will actually remain uncovered, add an agreed allowance for cuts and reserve, and round to full cartons of the selected product. The planner shows each step. Its default allowance is an editable starting assumption, not a manufacturer requirement.

Use your actual rates

Enter supplier and installer rates in the floor studio. Flooring is calculated on purchased carton coverage; installation, preparation and removal use net floor area. Additional costs are a lump sum. Tax is a manual blended rate, applied to the entered subtotal. Confirm tax treatment with your supplier. Blank costs stay unpriced.

Before accepting a quotation

Confirm the SKU, measured area, carton count, preparation allowances, payment schedule, warranty responsibilities and what happens if hidden conditions appear. Obtain written approval before extra work. A planning total is not an offer, booking or final installed price.
